How to convert from pints to fluid ounces?

To convert from pints to fluid ounces, multiply the number of pints "x" by 16 for the US pint and multiply by 20 for the imperial pint (UK).

For example, to find out how many ounces there are in one and a half US pint, multiply 1.5 by 16, that makes 24 fluid ounces in 1.5 US pints.
