How many cups are there in a pint?
There are 2 cups in a fluid pint and 2.37 cups in a dry pint in US. There are 1.76 imperial cups in an imperial pint and 2.27 metric cups in an imperial pint in UK.
Please note that, UK now use the metric cups (250 mL) but if you need the pint to cup conversion from the old recipes, then you may still need the use the capacities from the imperial pints and the cups.

How to convert from pints to cups?
To convert from pints to cups, multiply the number of pints "x" by 2 for US, multiply by 1.76 for the imperial system and also multiply by 2.27 from imperial pints to the metric cups.
For example, to find out how many cups there are in one and a half US fluid pint, multiply 1.5 by 2, that makes 3 cups in 1.5 US fluid pints.
